Take-It-Easel is the only field easel which provides support for supplies at adjustable, accessible working height for standing or sitting. This versatile support can be made larger or smaller to accommodate many mediums, both a large paint box and palette, or a complete array of pastels, etc.

Flexible enough to accommodate painting surfaces from 4” x 6” up to 48” tall and even wider, the painting surface may also be angled forward to reduce glare or to eliminate pastel dust particle streaking.

The tripod legs open to span four feet, making it extremely stable in the wind when weighted with supplies or heavy supply bags.

A uniquely simple internal spring mechanism allows you to adjust the length of each leg individually with just a pull of a lever. This means setup and breakdown takes less than a minute. We use all brass leg joiners and fastenings and copper-clad steel to provide extra strength.

Each easel comes with an easily attached 18 inch extender leg, for use on extremely uneven terrain or slopes to level your working support. An umbrella can be clamped to the provided extra peg to shade both painter and easel. The strong cotton adjustable shoulder strap leaves both hands free.

Made from hard maple, Take-It-Easel weighs only 8 pounds. The finish is hand-rubbed Butcher’s Wax. A light coat applied very occasionally with medium steel wool keeps Take-It-Easel protected and looking like new.
